What we provide

We provide a free salary and take home pay calculator plus informational articles about UK pay, tax and related topics. The site is free to use and we may change or remove any part of it at any time.

Estimates, not advice

All calculator results are estimates based on published HMRC and GOV.UK rates and the standard assumptions stated on our methodology page. They are not financial, tax or legal advice. Your actual payslip may differ, for example if your tax code is not 1257L. For personal tax questions, speak to a qualified accountant or adviser.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the site, attempt to disrupt it, or copy our content and present it as your own. You may link to our pages and share our calculator freely.

We work hard to keep every figure accurate and we recheck our rates each tax year, but we cannot guarantee the site is error free. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the site or reliance on its figures.
